I am not out to get the YMCA located in Flushing on Pierson Rd, although I have some concerns I need to address. I have been going to this place for a long time consistently. I have made enormous health improvements. Thank you YMCA for what you do! It appears that there are some jealous people that come to workout or just to mess with Christians like myself. There are some people that think it is funny to make fun or subtle Jesus jokes to discourage Christians from working out and use absolutely filthy language, such as the F-bomb! These kind of people need to go because their negative impact effects the whole facility and effects others mental health and well being. We all deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. Rules at this place need to be enforced for the good of all. Maintenance at this location does well and the staff is friendly. The place is kept clean. I enjoy coming here more If the improvements were made that I suggested? I would rate the YMCA higher and recommend people to go there. Udate: I would like to commend the manager at the YMCA on Pierson Rd for his professionalism at handing the problem I have adressed! I would like to add another star to the over

Super nice people very helpful staff and clean facility! I am frequently impressed that we have such a nice place to work out and their community programming is great. I always love going in to see what is going on. Someday, when I grow up, I want to work here. Fingers crossed. 10/10 would use this place

I want to give a sincere thank you to Mr. Alvin and Mr. O’Neil at the YMCA on Pierson Rd in Flint. My son experienced muscle pain so intense that it caused him to pass out and required an ambulance examination. Getting a phone call like that immediately sends a parent into panic, and I definitely was. Mr. Alvin handled the entire situation with such calm professionalism. Until I arrived, he was attentive to my son, kept me informed, and his calm demeanor truly helped steady the situation when everything felt overwhelming. What meant just as much was receiving a follow-up call from Mr. O’Neil the next day to check on my son and see if our family needed any support. That level of care and thoughtfulness speaks volumes about the people working there. Moments like this remind you how important it is to have responsible, compassionate adults around our kids. I’m truly grateful for how they handled everything and for the care they showed my son.

I don’t even wanna give it a one star very disappointed in this YMCA there are so many things that need to be addressed in regards to the upkeep of the amenities in this building. I had to cancel my membership.

I called before I went and the lady stated I could come before 3.pm for a day pass. Would you believe I got there at 3:02 and she refused to give me a pass. This was the worst slap in the face. Only because I had a total knee replacement and gas was $4.25 but worst of all. Her neglect of human decency or lack there of.This is a poor exhibition of customer service sad. But even more sadder from an older lady with life experience. She acted as if she never was 2 minutes late and I didn't contact her on the phone. I should have asked to speak to a manager but I was in such shock!!!! I will tell this story to everyone i meet
